Band Prep Days
Panther Band Parents,
We will hold Band Prep Days this year to facilitate an efficient way of getting each band member processed
through all the administrative activities to include:
- Uniform fittings.
- Ordering marching shoes (freshmen and upper classmen in need of new pair).
- Completing all required forms.
- Ordering optional items.
- Payment of fees.
Every band member should attend, along with at least one parent.
Band Prep Days are scheduled as follows:
Seniors – Wed. 08/06/08

7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Last Names beginning with P-Z

We're in need of help for Band Prep Days - to help process each band member through their uniform fitting, forms
completion and taking order forms and payments. If you can help on any or all of the days and times listed below,
please just come on in to Dierolf Band hall. We really would appreciate your help!

We are very PROUD to announce that the O'Connor Symphonic Winds (A1) won
the 2008-2009 Region Honor Band Competition in Class 5A.
The Band's recordings were judged on June 10th and came in 1st Place for TMEA Region 11. The top band's recordings now
advance to the TMEA Area Competition on June 19th and will compete with the winners of Region 18, 12 & 23 to advance to
TMEA State. The band performed "Glory of the Yankee Navy" by J.P. Sousa, "Molly On the Shore" by P. Grainger, and "Italian
In Algiers" by G. Rossini. We would also like to congratulate the Clark HS Wind Ensemble for advancing as well! Congrats
OHS Band...we are very proud of you for a great recording/performance and good luck at Area.
